Our story

Public information, brought together for authorized teams.

  • What UONE is. UONE helps organizations check contact details against publicly available information. Upload a spreadsheet of accounts and contacts, and UONE searches public information for every record, then returns the findings with their source links and a clear grade.
  • Why it exists. Checking records one by one is slow, repetitive work that pulls skilled people away from judgment. UONE does the searching in bulk and leaves the decisions to your team.
  • The name. UONE stands for Unified One: information from many public sources, brought together into one clear, evidence-backed view.
  • Who it is for. Authorized teams with a documented, lawful business purpose, in the United Arab Emirates and beyond.
  • Search technology. UONE’s automated search pipeline uses Google Search, the industry-standard search technology, to retrieve public information at scale. UONE is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
  • Not a decision-maker. UONE is not a credit bureau or a background-check agency, and it does not make legal, identity, credit, employment or enforcement decisions.
  • Not a guarantee. Results are automated intelligence meant to assist, support and speed up human checks. They are not promised to be complete or 100% accurate, so your team should review the evidence before acting.

How UONE is built

Built and run from the United Arab Emirates, with the guidance of data analysts, web developers, model designers and search and tracking specialists.

  • Data analysis. Finding the right person among many with the same name takes more than a match. UONE allows for spelling and company-name variants, compares several details, and tells strong evidence from weak.
  • Search and tracking. Every finding keeps its source link and the way it was found, so each result can be traced and checked by your team.
  • Model design. Automated review is used with care. It can lower a grade or raise a Possible match to a Likely match, and it never makes a Strong match on its own.
  • Web engineering. Pages and files are built to be accessible, covered by automated checks before changes go live, and sealed so any change to a Result file shows.
  • Evidence and accountability. Every finding carries its source link so an authorized user can judge it, and responsibility stays with the authorized organization and user.

Security

How UONE protects your account and your results.

  • Verified accounts only. Sign-up needs a work email confirmed with a code, and every campaign needs a confirmation of authorized use.
  • Encrypted connections. Everything between your browser and UONE is encrypted.
  • Secured access. Sign-ins, sessions, connections to the services UONE relies on, and stored information are protected with industry-standard security measures, and repeated or unusual sign-in attempts are blocked.
  • Tamper-evident results. Every Result file carries a seal. If anyone changes the findings, Verify a Result shows that the file no longer matches what UONE issued.
  • Activity records. Important account, campaign, download and administration activity is recorded, so concerns can be investigated.
  • If something goes wrong. UONE looks into security concerns promptly. If a personal-data breach affects information we hold, we notify the organization concerned without undue delay, and the authorities where the law requires. Report a concern with Contact and choose “A security concern”.
  • Your part. Keep your password private, sign out on shared devices, and look after downloaded files in line with your organization’s policies.

Your data

The plain-language story of your data.

  • What you provide. The fields of the approved template that your organization chooses to submit, and your organization’s details and work email.
  • What UONE does with it. It uses the details in each record to find and weigh public information, for your campaign and for nothing else. A date of birth, if you provide it, is never used to look anything up. UONE only compares it with what a public page states.
  • Never sold. Your searches, uploaded lists and results are private and confidential. UONE never sells them, or any of your data, to any third party. They are never used for advertising and never used for another customer’s campaign.
  • Trusted providers. UONE relies on trusted service providers to operate the service. They receive only what they need to carry out your request.
  • How long things stay. Files and results are removed from our live systems 24 hours after the campaign ends. Encrypted backup copies expire automatically within 30 days. A short campaign log is kept for 365 days: the reference, name, dates, status, number of records, outcome counts and Review Credits used. It holds no record details.
  • Who can see it. Only the account that ran a campaign can open its records, results and files. UONE administrators see account status, Review Credits and counts only, with email addresses masked.
  • Unused accounts. An account that has never recharged or run a campaign is paused 6 months after it is created. An account in use is paused after 12 months without activity. You get a notice 30 days before, and nothing is deleted.
  • How UONE improves. UONE learns from anonymous result figures, such as how often a kind of search helped, and from company-name spellings. It never learns from personal details like names, contact details or dates of birth, and nothing it learns is linked to a person, a user or a campaign.
